What did you do over reading week?

I watched a lot of Netflix and spent time with my family, dog and friends from back home. Of course I had to study a bit too as I had two exams right after the break.

Why did you pursue your major?

I want to go to go law school eventually, so I figured politics was a good fit. I also like keeping up on current issues. I decided to do a minor in film studies because I am a huge movie buff, and this way I get to watch movies every week and not feel guilty about it, since it’s for school!

What’s your favorite food?

Pasta (I’m Italian so I make it at least 3 times a week for dinner) and seafood (fried shrimp and calamari especially). I also have a huge sweet-tooth.

What’s your favorite thing to do off campus?

I don’t really go out that much, but if I do, the Ceeps is probably where I’ll be. Great music and more importantly no EDM which I can’t stand. Also there are lots of booths to just chill with my friends at and order food if I don’t want to dance.

Who is your role model?

I haven’t really thought about it much, but maybe J.K. Rowling. The Harry Potter books had a huge impact on my love for reading and the amount of creativity in the series is unfathomable. Her rags to riches story is also very inspiring and her main message to never lose your imagination is a great one.

What is your favorite song right now?

Blue Velvet by Bobby Vinton. We just watched the movie in class and now I can’t get the song out of my head.

Do you have any mottos that you live by?

1.    Success is the best revenge.

2.    Beauty fades, dumb is forever.

What do you want to be when you grow up?

I would like to be a lawyer one day. I think the idea of being in court is so fun since I love presenting to an audience and debating with other people. I watch a lot if legal shows too so the lifestyle that comes along with law is also pretty enticing.

Do have any guilty pleasures?

Competition reality television. I have seen every season of Survivor and The Apprentice. One day my sister and I will be on The Amazing Race Canada, just wait.

What’s your favorite thing to do in your spare time?

Watching Netflix, reading (books other than textbooks), and board game night with my friends. Nothing like some healthy competition, right? Or unhealthy in our case…things get pretty heated when we play.

What’s your favorite show?

Definitely American Crime Story: The People v. OJ Simpson. I watch it every week with my friends and on the days in between we watch interviews and clips from the actual trial. #DreamTeam
