Velvet.

Because we need to talk about velvet.

Velvet is making a comeback in every way this year. Obviously, velvet is timeless. It is soft and warm and smooth and luxurious. It’s a perfect material. But this year, velvet has a bigger role than a $50 body-con dress from American Apparel that every girl in your high school wore to the same event. American Apparel is certainly taking advantage of this velvety moment in fashion as they’ve introduced new velvet styles — the velvet babydoll dress. Truly innovative.

In all seriousness, there’s a lot of good velvet out there right now that the world needs to know about and purchase.

Like…these velvet joggers for the incredibly reasonable price of $41! If you know what’s good, you’ll be looking to buy velvet joggers.

There is a multitude of velvet bomber jackets out there in every color. If you were looking to get involved in the bomber jacket game, do it the right way and go velvet. It’s trendy and fashionably relevant on two levels!

Go a little further than just a velvet choker and invest in some velvet shoes, velvet shirts, velvet backpacks. So get online and type velvet into the searchbar of all your favorite websites. Live out George Costanza’s dream and drape yourself in velvet this season.
