Bruce Grossman 2018

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Wash U chapter.

Meet Bruce, this week’s Campus Cutie. Whether you spot him in the archaeology labs or behind a DJ booth, feel free to say hello to this hilarious gem!

Where are you from?

“Clayton, MO. You’ve all been there.”

What do you study?

“I have a major in Finance and a minor in Archaeology.”

What do you do outside of class?

“I work part time at a wealth management firm. I love coaching IM sports. That’s code for heckling the other teams. I enjoy grilling. If you enjoy smoked meats, hmu ;)

What fraternity are you in?

“Theta Xi. I DJ all the parties. FYI, if you come past midnight, I only play middle school throwbacks. You know you want to be there.”

Do you have a favorite song?

“Definitely Everytime We Touch by Cascada.”

Who is your celebrity crush?

“Nicholas Gaudio. Just kidding…. Chris Pratt. This one time, a girl at the bookstore said that living with Chris Pratt would be awful. I disagree, I think living with chris pratt would be pretty fun. I’d be down. Also Emma Watson.”

I know you travel often. Where is the coolest place you’ve been?

“The Grand Cayman Islands. I like laid-back places by the ocean. I scuba dive. Once, in the Caymans, I did a night dive where stingrays were sleeping under the sand. Just their eyes pop up. When you shine a light on them, they jump out and kick up sand.”

What is your spirit animal?

“A giraffe. Cuz I like to fight with my neck. Just kidding. I can touch my nose with my tongue. Also i’m pretty tall.”

Describe yourself in three words?

“Goofy, athletic, friendly.”

What is the coolest thing you’ve ever done?

“Crowd-surfed to my own song.”

Tell me a joke?

“The 2016 presidential election.”

Good one, Bruce!
