Coachella is in a week, and it’s time to mentally prepare for the trillions of insta pics and snap stories that are about to come your way. From the insane music line-up to the even better food line-up this year’s festival is bound to be the best one yet.  Here are the top 5 reasons why i’m super-duper excited to blast out of St Louis and embark on the wild adventure that is ~Coachella~.

California (because it’s not Missouri)

After this week of strange weather and not knowing whether or not I will be freezing or sweating, I am ready for the amazing Southern California climate. I’m ready to see palm trees, get a tan, and be somewhere that’s not Missouri. Don’t get me wrong, St.Louis is great, but it’s no Palm Springs.

Food

The food at Coachella is actually mind blowing and I can’t wait to be reunited with Afters Ice Cream Sandwiches and eat about 5 of them. Half of the fun of the festival is eating 15 meals a day and trying every item they have just for fun.

People Watching

People watching at Chella is probably one of the best ways to spend your down time. Not only will you see a gazillion flower crowns , but people wear insane costumes and are just generally wacky!

Celebs

Maybe this is just me, but spotting celebs at the festival and acting low key and normal is VERY hard for me. Its super exciting to walk around and spot those celebs you heavily stalk on social media and pretend to be nonchalant.

Music! (…duh)

From Travis Scott and Future to Lorde, Lady Gaga, and Bon Iver, this year’s lineup is probably the best lineup I’ve EVER seen. Not only have I been waiting my whole life to see Bon Iver live, but Lady Gaga’s new album is absolutely amazing and she’s going to kill it!!! Definitely going to be a struggle to choose who I want to see, but with this year’s lineup I really can’t go wrong.
