A good makeup brush can either make or break the application of your makeup. Over the years, it has been a constant struggle to find a happy medium when it comes to makeup brushes; you want something that allows you to have good coverage, but not too much coverage to the extent that it looks like you have your makeup caked on. For those of you that are on the lookout for new makeup brushes, have no fear, as I have the perfect ones for you!

1. The Beauty Blender, Sephora, $20.00

Recently, I have come to really enjoy the beauty blender. You activate the beauty blender by running it under water; it expands to a plush sponge that gives your makeup a dewy look. The Beauty Blender is great because it allows you to build coverage; you can either have a light cover of foundation or slowly build up the coverage.

2. The Tapered Brush, Sephora, PRO Tapered Crease Brush #19, $20.00

When it comes to creating a smokey eye, it’s important to have the right tools in your arsenal. In order to smoke out the dark taupe colors that typically accompany a smokey eye, a tapered brush is crucial for your look. This tapered brush from Sephora allows you to effortlessly build your color for the perfect smokey eye.

3. Sephora, PRO Airbrush Concealer Brush #57, $24.00

When it comes to my under eye concealer and conceal brush, I am super particular. This brush is amazing. The bristles are soft enough not to irritate your delicate under eye area, yet allows you to build coverage so your dark under eye bags are not as noticeable.
