Like many students, I tend to do a great deal of online shopping. Whether it’s for makeup, clothes, or the like, it’s convenient and gives me a nice break in my studies; however, sometimes you just want to go to a store and try the product on. Below are a few of my personal favorite places here in Winston-Salem where anyone can go to achieve a variety of their beauty needs.
Dejavu Lifestyle Nail Salon

Located in the plaza where Midtown Café resides, Dejavu Lifestyle Nail Salon is a relaxing place to secure your mani-pedi needs. The atmosphere is tranquil, the workers are professional, and it is a great place to decompress from “Work Forest.”
Sephora

Sephora is the holy grail of all things beauty. Located in the Hanes Mall, it is a perfect one stop place where all your beauty needs will be met. Plus, since it is located right in the heart of Hanes Mall, there is a ton more shopping that can be done!

Ulta has brands such as Benefit, Urban Decay, Bareminerals, Anastasia Beverly Hills, L’oreal, Tarte, and many more!
Aeracura Aveda Salon
101 Reynolda Village, Winston- Salem, NC 27106
Located in Reynolda village, Aeracura is perfect place for haircuts, blowouts, professional makeup, and waxing! A bonus is that they will give discounts to Wake Forest students, and who doesn’t love a discount?
