As a beauty junky, I have made some heinous mistakes. I wrongly listened to the Sephora reviews that exclaimed certain products were “life changing!” Obviously we are not talking about providing clean water to third world countries – that, my friends, is life changing. However, in the world of beauty, everyone has their own standards. Below are three products that I regret buying. Make sure to check out this list so you don’t make the same mistake I did and waste your money.

1. GLAMGLOW

This product was hot for quite a bit, but honestly, I don’t understand why. My skin wasn’t magically repaired or de-gunked after using it. So, I’m not really sure what happened here. I was in desperate need of a mask that would make my skin luminous after the harsh winter weather, but that was definitely not what I got. Everyone lived for this mask, but I honestly did not see what all the craze was about. More than anything else, it did absolutely nothing for me.

2. Better Than False Lashes Extreme by Too Faced

I love Too Faced products. I’m a big believer in buying what they are selling – well, most of the time anyway. I was going through this phase where all I wanted was full, voluminous eyelashes. So, when I saw this product I thought, What do I have to lose? Answer: I have $35.00 to lose, that’s what. Not only was the formula super difficult to put on, it also did nothing to make my eyelashes look like Kim Kardashian’s. Translation: HUGE disappointment.

3. Origins Super Spot Remover

I am always on the search for good skincare products that will treat blemishes and uneven skin tone. I hate the feeling of waking up and realizing that I have a pimple. It simply just ruins my day. You feel like everyone notices, and no matter how much cover-up you use, nothing will fix it. So, I thought I would try Origins Super Spot Remover. I love my other Origins products, so I was sure it would cure any blemishes I had. Oh how disillusioned I was! While I’m sure the product works for some people, I was not that fortunate.
