Although the end of the school year brings warmer weather and the end of classes for the year, there is one thing standing in the way of lying on the beach: finals. After a semester full of papers and tests, finals are the last thing we have to get through before being able to take a break from late night studying and stress. Studying for finals can sometimes seem impossible, so getting out of your dorm room and into a place where you can be more productive is key. Here are the top five study spots on campus that will help you focus on studying ace your finals and be that much closer to summer vacation.

Falvey Library

The library is the obvious study spot on campus. Those who don’t mind a more social atmosphere can stay on the first two floors. (And the first floor has the added bonus of a Holy Grounds, fueling your late night studying.) The third and fourth floors are for those who need to crank out a paper in silence and prefer quiet study.

Bartley

Although Bartley is often crowded with students working, it’s a great place to study and so convenient for those living in the Quad. Grab a table in The Exchange or search the second and third floors for a small study room. You can also reserve a classroom and grab a bunch of your friends to study.

Connelly Center

Connelly has a few different areas that are great for studying as well. If you are feeling more social, sit downstairs, enjoying the music and being close to food if you need a pick me up. The President’s Lounge and Commuter Lounge are great if you are looking for somewhere quieter, with comfortable couches and a fireplace to feel more cozy.

Saint Augustine Center

SAC is definitely a hidden gem when it comes to study spots on campus. If you are looking for a smaller classroom to study in that shouldn’t be too crowded, this is the place for you. Also, for those easily distracted and just wanting to get away from everyone, the alcoves are great places to study in complete peace and quiet.

Outside

It’s always hard to be stuck inside studying and not being able to enjoy the beautiful weather. The perfect way to solve this problem is to take advantage of the many study spots outside. Grab a table outside of Connelly or CEER, or pick a spot in the Grotto, and enjoy the weather while still being productive.
