Throughout our lives, we meet many people. Some stay with us forever, and some come in our life for a very short time. However, each person who comes in and out of our lives is placed there to teach us something during a different stage of life whether it be college, high school, or life after college.

Throughout my twenty short years, there have been many people who have passed through my life. I am thankful for each and every one of those people and everything they have taught me about life and love. However, having a core group of people by your side to support you through every step of your journey is not only comforting but also encouraging.

I am lucky enough to have found that core group of six girls here at college. We come from all around the country- from Wisconsin, to Illinois, to New Jersey, to Pennsylvania. We have been brought together by our shared passions, goals, and of course love of all things Villanova.

These girls are my core, my rocks, my squad. I do not know what I would do without them and as I prepare for my exciting European adventure next semester, I cannot fathom four months without them or- our daily lunch and library dates, our weekly sushi dinners with endless amounts of wine and laughter, our crazy adventures from waking up at five in the morning to get Hoops Mania tickets to spending the day exploring New York City.

As this semester is coming to a close, I wanted to write a special thank you to the group of girls who keep me going on a daily basis, who bring me endless love and laughter, who provide me with a floor to crash on, a buddy to study with, and stress out with, who extend my closet by five times, who will always be my go-to date to sorority functions or sushi dinners, who do not let a boy come into my life unless he has passed all the proper tests, who jam out to our favorite songs at all volumes and at all times of the day, who encourage me to make the right decisions (and sometimes the bad ones) but will always be there in the morning to laugh with me and tell me that everything will be alright.

Thank you girls for not only being my best friends but my sisters. I will miss each of you dearly as I am half way across the world but know I am already counting down the days until we will be reunited for another unforgettable year.
