Rams Bazarre has collaborated with the Earth Day celebration to provide the student body with a fun and exciting way to show appreciation for the environment Mother Nature has given us. The festivities will be held in the Park Plaza by the behind the Pollak building and begin around ten in the morning and end at four in the evening. There will be a variety of unique vendors and activities available at the Bazarre to appeal to the diverse student body here at VCU.

One of the items that is sure to catch everyone’s attention is the “Pedal Power” which is a bicycle that when ridden generates power. The Bazarre will also provide nine yards of interactive art activities, bike repair, segway tours, magicians, hula hooping, and over forty vendors. Among the vendors, there will be twenty four student vendors and four local student organizations. The popular Rumors boutique will also be making an appearance at the special event along with Tribu; a company that turns old tires into flip flops. Tricycle Garden, Terra Gypsy, and Mehndi Artist will be present at the Rams Bazarre as well. The celebration would not be complete without food! Olio cart which can already be spotted on campus will be a part of the festivities, providing us with delicious cooking. Al Madina and Goatocado will also be providing us with yummy treats as well. Along with the fun activities, vendors, and food there are two big headliners of the day!
The ReCycleMania Eco Fashion show and of course the Her Campus VCU Yard Sale are bound to be a success in celebrating Earth Day! The fashion show will be from noon to one o’clock in the Student Commons plaza. To learn more about the fashion show and how to enter your designs visit http://www.facebook.com/events/191591354274655/. Almost to compliment the recycle themed fashion show, Her Campus VCU will be holding a yard sale providing cute and trendy threads at an affordable price. The yard sale will be on April 20 from 10 AM to 4 PM.
Overall, Earth Day and Rams Bazarre will be a fun filled day with exciting activities, vendors, and a yard sale all in favor of making our environment a more desirable place to live. For more information about the Rams Bazarre visit their tumblr here! http://ramscommunitybazaar.tumblr.com/
