How are you involved at VCU or in the community?

I am the president and co-founder of Rams n’ Reptiles, which is a community where reptile and amphibian owners at VCU can get together and talk about their experiences. We frequently take trips to Maymont where they have three beautiful venomous snakes. I’m currently a TA for UNIV 200 and loving it. It’s awesome to be apart of the Undergraduate Teaching Assistant Program since we have the opportunity to help so many people get through the required FI courses.

Favorite experience at VCU so far:

My favorite experience was working with my fellow UTA’s to improve VCU. We focused on second-hand smoke exposure on campus, and gave a presentation on our proposal to limit smoke exposure for non-smoking students.

Favorite spot in Richmond:

I love going to Maymont, especially the nature center. I could spend hours watching those otters play around. I also keep going back because I have yet to see that bear they claim to have.

How do you spend your free time?

I spend a lot of time taking care of my animals and making YouTube videos about them. I’m also an avid reader of science fiction and fantasy novels.

Who would play you in the movie of your life?

Eddie Redmayne, since he was so good at playing Stephen Hawking.

Current obsession:

I have two currents. One is boys who are in bands, and the other is tarantulas. And pole dancing. Make that three current obsessions.

Where was your first kiss?

On a picnic table across the street from my high school.

Ladies’/guys’ trend that you just don’t understand:

Usually I’m a live and let live kind of person, but I can’t handle fedoras. Also those Justin Bieber type pants where the crotch is by his knees.

Last song you listened to:

Ignition (Remix) by R. Kelly

Last TV show you watched:

The Borgias

Any guilty pleasures?

I like to get tattoos and piercings, but shoot I ain’t guilty about it.

Spirit animal:

My spirit animal would be a wallaby. I’m a vegetarian, I travel with my best friends and I’m an Aussie at heart.

Celeb crush:

It’s a tossup between Paul Rudd and Cillian Murphy

Do you have any hidden talents?

If you ask me about any animal, I can name one or more facts about it. And possibly make its sound.

Fun fact:

I have nine snakes, two gerbils, a cat and a tarantula in my apartment.
