What: The first ever Sprinkles Cupcake Bakery!

Where: 12 Ave South!

When: Grand Opening – Thursday, December 17th / Hours of Operation – Mon.-Fri. 9am-10pm

The original cupcake bakery is coming to Nashville! Sprinkles first opened in Beverly Hills as the first ever cupcake bakery and since then has been opening new locations all over the country. The newest Sprinkles location is just down the road from Vanderbilt’s campus on 12th South. It serves gourmet cupcakes, an assortment of ice cream sandwiches and sundaes, and has the Instagram famous cupcake ATM that you can purchase cupcakes from 24hrs a day. I went to the grand opening on Thursday morning bought a box of their vanilla, dark chocolate, and black/white cupcake minis. From now until the middle of January they will have a variety of seasonal flavors like chocolate mint, gingerbread, and s’mores as well as different flavors of the month like German chocolate (January), maple bacon (February), and cherry blossom (March). To have the full Sprinkles experience I suggest heading to 12th South to shop around a little at nearby stores like Cadeau, a store for eclectic and artsy gifts, then grab a bite to eat at one of the many restaurants (Frothy Monkey is definitely a local favorite), and cap of your day with a cupcake from Sprinkles to take home and enjoy.
