This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Vanderbilt chapter.
Erin qualifies as a Campus Celebrity with her constant flow of articles to Vanderbilt’s The Hustler and national publications like Huffington Post and Blavity, but with her sassiness and feminist chic factor, I thought her reign this week should fall under the title of Campus Cutie.

She can’t separate her love for “How to Get Away With Murder” from “Scandal” but she’s team Fitz. If she could be a character on “Orange is the New Black,” she’d be Miss Claudette (Season One throwback). Her Facebook is filled with New York Times articles, references to the new Broadway musical “Hamilton,” and her #flawless love for Queen B.

Five We-Wanna-Know-You-Even-Better-Questions!

I know you’ve probably been asked this a million times. Where did you transfer from and why?
Georgia Southern University because I was tired of being surrounded by racist and close-minded people who only aspired to be someone’s husband.

If you could go back in a time to a year ago today, what would you tell yourself? Don’t be pre-med. Drop Organic Chemistry.
When did you start writing about gender and race issues and what drew you to that? I started writing about gender and race issues around this time last year. I felt that I did not have a voice nor was I making an actual difference in my immediate community….so I decided to write to shed light on gender and racial issues.

Let’s talk Politics. Considering the people currently running, if you HAD to vote GOP, who would you go for, and if you HAD to vote Democrat, who would you vote for?
If I had to vote GOP, I would move to Italy. If I was forced back to the States, I would vote for Rand Paul. BERNIE SANDERS 4LYFE. #FeelTheBern

If you were given a year to do whatever you wanted and a million dollars to go along with it, what would you do?
I would live in Italy and write a novel.

I'm a girl caught between being a Northerner and a Southerner, but currently residing in Music City. My dorm room is covered in tapestries from Bonnaroo, black and white photos of Paris, a Van Gogh painting-in-a-poster, blue and white christmas lights, and an array of Taylor Swift posters (she is queen). My dream is to write for Marie Claire magazine.
