11 Struggles of an Aggressive Person: As told by Nick Miller

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Vanderbilt chapter.

You’ve been called a lot of things: intimidating, negative, hot-tempered. It is a known fact that you can generally be pessimistic, and resting bitch face is very real. You have close friends who have learned to accept (put up with) your aggressive “moments,” which you love them for, because, let’s be honest, you have yelled at them all. Too bad for you it’s too late to change, but you are who you are so #sorrynotsorry.

1. Oh road rage? Yeah you have that.

The car is actually where you do most of your swearing.

2. Sometimes just dealing with people in general is unbearable.

All you can think is “this conversation is literally painful and I already hate you.”

3. You often find yourself surrounded by cheery people.

4. And you don’t know how to interact with them…

5. If you’re in a bad mood, anything and everything is horrible

*sarcasm*

6. No one is safe from your wrath, which means you have to make a lot of awkward apologies, unless you’re okay with having no friends.

7. You sometimes have to remind your friends about your personality problem

8. Yeah, you’ve made people cry, and since you’re obvioiusly good at interacting with people it is immediately terrifying.

Don’t…be…cry?

9. You often reflect on your personality and have the same realization:

and you basically realize there’s something wrong with you, ya weirdo.

10. But when people try and talk to you about it you immediately go on the defensive

SOME PEOPLE FIND IT ENDEARING.

11. You think sometimes: “wow I should really try and work on this,” but your attempts are always short-lived.

Good luck with all that!
