Growing up shy I never really had an outlet where I truly felt comfortable to share my experiences and the feelings that came with it. During my junior year of college, I joined Her Campus: The Valdosta State Chapter. A year after joining Her Campus, I had realized my best articles were about my experiences with boys. I had used Her Campus as a way to finally have the last word with almost every guy who had done me wrong. In honor of my last article for Her Campus: here’s some FU’s and thank you’s to the worst of the worst of the guys I have written about in my time here in Her Campus.
1. The A**hole Who Almost Took My Virginity
You get the biggest “f*ck you” out of all the other guys! F*ck you for being okay with almost taking virginity… and not telling me you were in a relationship the entire time. You may think I’m just the innocent, sweet, shy girl but I also have another side to me… and that’s my petty side. I could ruin your whole life if I wanted to, but that would mean I would be ruining your significant other’s life too. And I’m just down with hurting innocent people in the process. By receiving the biggest FU, you also get one of the biggest thank you’s. Thank you for showing me what kind of guy NOT to put up with. Because of you, I always listen to my gut when someone tries to feed me BS.
2. The Guy Who Claims He’s Not Like Other Guys
I was going through one of my biggest heartbreaks and I was vulnerable. You were a great shoulder to cry on. I had told you everything that I had been through in my past relationship. You had claimed to be the complete total opposite of the jerk that had broken my heart. You made me believe that you truly cared for me, but instead you were just looking for sex from a heartbroken vulnerable girl. So f*ck you for that! But also thank you for showing me your true colors in a short amount of time. My time is far too valuable to be wasted.
3. The Guy Who Thought He Could Have His Cake And Eat It Too
Hooking up with you while I had still had feelings for one of your friends was bad on my part. But f*ck you for just being the biggest disappointment. I don’t why I thought you could heal my broken heart when you were just as slimy as your friend (my ex). But thank you for the experience! It made one hell of a great article!
4. The Boyfriend
To my boyfriend, who gets the biggest thank you out of all the other guys. Thank you for always being there for me and putting up with my crazy weird personality. Patience is one of the top things I look for in a guy. So thank you for never pressuring me into doing something I wasn’t comfortable with. Thank you for the awesome college memories and experiences. You were one of the best things to happen to me in college.
With more experiences, comes more great stories to tell. Jess is done… for now.
