In our twenties it’s a little hard to differentiate between the guys who really like us, and the guys who just want to slide into bed with us. After a while you want to stop playing the guessing game! So, I have compiled a list of 5 things you should look for to see whether or not a guy wants to be with you for more than just sex.
1. Sex Isn’t a Big Deal. If he’s always coming around but the two of you haven’t fooled around, he genuinely likes you. Let’s be real: if this guy comes over and is always trying to put the moves on you, you might want to re-think what his intentions might be. However, if he’s coming around and you don’t have to constantly remind him to keep his hands to himself, he might be worthwhile.
2. You’re Exclusive: If this guy is letting people know that you two are dating, he totally likes you and a relationship could be in your future. Face it, you’re the apple of his eye! If he has no problem expressing that to you or others, you can be sure that you are more than just a fling!
3. He’s Consistent in Every Way: His actions and his words match up! He’s not just saying he likes you, but he’s showing you too. He sends those sweet ‘Good Morning’ texts that you like, and even if you don’t see him that day he finds ways to let you know he’s thinking about you. Not only that, but this is every day! This is not a once in a while thing. He’s not doing it for an award or recognition, he’s doing it because it’s rewarding to see you happy!
4. He Pays Attention to You: He notices your favorite color is purple because everything you buy is purple. He notices when your hair is done, when you change your nail polish color, or when you’re in a funky mood. He is becoming accustomed to you and all your little quirks. Any guy who is truly into you is going to want to know every little thing about you!
5. He’s Spending Time with You: He’s including you in his daily activities, and he’s taking you out on dates. Even if it’s just going to the grocery store, making dinner, or studying in the same room, he’s consistently making effort to see you. Whenever he can be around, he is, without you being completely annoyed by him.
If the guy you like does all (and not just one) of these things, he is totally into you! Even with that being said, try to go with the flow. Don’t push or pressure anything, keep being yourself! If you want a relationship, keep note of these signs and let the magic happen.
