The holidays are just around the corner and there is no better way to spend the holidays than with people you love. It may feel that this time of the year passes by in the blink of an eye. Unfortunately, the holidays don’t come cheap but that shouldn’t stop the fun.  So, I have put together a list of date ideas for single and group dates that won’t break the bank this holiday season.

Pumpkin Carving

What better way to start the fall season than getting a little festive? You can purchase a pumpkin for less than ten bucks and then your pumpkin possibilities are endless. You can even take the less messy route and paint your pumpkin instead of carving it.

Scary Movie Marathon

This is when Netflix becomes your best friend. They have an endless supply of scary movies to make your night a scream fest. Some of my personal favorites include Scream, The Exorcism of Emily Rose, A Nightmare on Elm Street and The Corpse Bride.

Bonfires

What better way to spend Friday and Saturday night than chatting around a fire with friends. However, the fire isn’t the best part, you get to enjoy marshmallow roasting and S’MORES!

Light Show

With the holidays coming up and the year drawing to the end one of my favorite things is going to the light shows in the area, whether it’s driving through the local light shows or waiting for official light shows around the area.

Build a Gingerbread House

If a night in listening to your favorite Christmas music building your own personal gingerbread house doesn’t get you in the holiday spirit I don’t know what else could.

These are just a few date night ideas for the upcoming holidays, but the cheap date night possibilities are endless this holiday season.  I hope you are able to try some of these date night ideas out this upcoming holiday season.
