HC: Hi Sami! Welcome to this interview! Let’s start with some basic questions and we’ll work our way to the good stuff. Why did you choose VSU?

Sami: I had to stay in Georgia for college and I lived right next to Kennesaw State. So, Valdosta was far enough away, has a great dance program, and I love the campus!

HC: That’s good! We see your major is Dance. What do you plan to do with your degree? Do you have a ten year plan?

Sami: I’d love to get right into performing professionally with a dance company [after I graduate]! In ten years, I’ll be either still dancing or opening up my own dance studio.

HC: That’s a solid plan. Do what you love and you can never go wrong. Is dance your only passion?

Sami: I have always been very passionate about my dancing and my future hopes and dreams in the dance world.

HC: So now to the fun part! You’re totally single so let’s get the 411 on what you look for in a guy. What are the top three traits you find the most attractive?

Sami: The most important thing to me is that they have a sense of humor, they need to be open minded about things, and of course be overall, caring and thoughtful.

HC: That’s a great list. Let’s give the guys out there an idea of what you like to do so they know what kind of date to ask you on. What are some of your favorite things to do? Or how do you spend an average Saturday night?

Sami: I love going out to abandoned houses and deserted areas with my friends and taking photos. I also like to binge watch series on Netflix. I like to hang out with my roommates and friends, maybe go see a movie. Usually it’s just a spur of the moment kind of stuff!

HC: That sounds so adventerous and exciting! What kind of date then would be your “perfect” date?

Sami: Probably something simple where we can talk and really get to know each other.

HC: That sounds so nice. Since we’re giving all the guys details about you, what is the first question would you want to ask a guy on a first date?

Sami: I think asking about someone’s major in college is a great way to find out what their passion is. Once you get somebody talking about something they love, they open up so much more!

HC: You’re so right! That’s a great way to get them to open up and be honest! But alas, since you are still single, why don’t you leave us with the best piece of relationship advice you have learned in your prior time while dating.

Sami: Always be honest with each other, no matter how difficult it may be.
