It’s the point of the semester where we all have given up on trying to impress anyone with how we dress. Showering has become your last priority and you’re about ready to just give up completely. I am here to give you some tips and tricks to stay as comfy as possible but still look cute for finals. We all are aware that finals week is the worst, but I am a firm believer in the better you feel, the better you’ll do. Looking great is a part of helping you feel great!
My first tip would be to wear leggings! Leggings are a girl’s best friend. They’re a step above wearing sweat pants but not going as far as wearing jeans. Leggings are extremely comfortable and versatile with many different tops. They’re also stretchy so you don’t have to feel constricted in your seat.
Pair a cute sweater or cardigan with your leggings. This is a simple way of looking nicer than just wearing a hoodie or sweat jacket. A cute sweater shows that you have put in some effort without going over the top and feeling uncomfortable. This also is perfect since sweaters are warm and comfy so you have plenty of ability to move around and stay warm.
With your sweater and leggings, you can even top it off by wearing a cute scarf or necklace. Pairing these three items shows that you have put in a little effort than just showing up in your pajamas like you really wish you could. It is the perfect outfit for looking cute but also wanting to stay comfortable and cozy during these long exams. Nothing is worse than sitting in the same desk for over an hour feeling constrained and uncomfortable.
The last and best advice I have would be something everyone already knows… Dry shampoo is also your best friend and use it all week during finals! It is a great way to keep your hair looking fresh and clean without revealing you haven’t showered in days. Dry shampoo will never fail you and this is the perfect time to get use out of it. If all else fails, just grab your favorite beanie and use that to cover up the grease.
