If it was your last day on Earth, what would you do?

I would get as many people as I could to go on a road trip with me, so we could have a great trip to a beach and watch the last hours of Earth with each other by a campfire. I’d love to be with my close friends and cross off as many things as we could on our bucketlist in 24hrs on this road trip before we eventually hike and make it to that campfire in those last hours.

What’s been your favorite thing about college so far?

I’ve really been enjoying being able to meet a bunch of new people and being able to spend time with my new friends and my girlfriend. In high-school, it seemed like I couldn’t connect with a lot of the people and kind of forced myself to get along, but in college, I have more freedom to form better relationships with people.

What would you say is the hardest thing about being in a relationship your first year of college?

Since it’s my first actual relationship, I have more responsibilities and have to learn the best ways to balance the time I spend at school, work, and home with friends with my time with her. In this relationship, I’ve learned a lot about how to be a better person, cook something that isn’t instant, and prove to her that she means the world to me.

What are the best things about living alone in your own apartment?

I get a lot more freedom and responsibility than I would have if I was still living at home. I’m actually okay with the process of “adulting.” I don’t have family members who do my laundry or people to take care of the problems that I have created. I like taking care of things myself.

What is the one thing you are looking forward to for the Summer of 2017?

I’m really looking forward to finally going to Disneyland with my girlfriend and going to South Korea again with my family. As you probably read in question two, since it’s my first real relationship, I’m excited to go on such a big trip with someone special who isn’t a family member. In terms of the Korea trip, I’m excited to go back and learn more about my culture and enjoy the things South Korea and the other islands have to offer.
