10 Activities You and Your BFFs Definitely Need to Do This Fall

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UW Stout chapter.

Who doesn’t love fall? The colorful leaves, the excuse to wear your cutest knit sweaters. Instead of wasting this short season, you should be spending it with your friends. Here are all the adorable fall activities you can do with your friends with this season.

1. Go to a farmer’s market

Apples and berries and flowers, oh my! When you are running low on food and you want to go somewhere unique with your BFFs, hit up your local farmers market! Not only are you having tons of fun sampling fresh food, but you are supporting the locals!

2. Go on a hike and take Instagram worthy pictures

Are they really your friends if they don’t take cute nature pictures of you? Get some fresh air and enjoy the beauty of fall this season!

3. Bake something seasonal

Apple pies, pumpkin muffins and bread: YUM! Save a Sunday to bake some fall goodies with your girls and feel no shame eating them.

4. Paint pumpkins

Need to find fall decorations for your dorm room? Buy little pumpkins and paint them with the gals! Bonding and painting just seem to go hand in hand.

5. Hit up a corn maze

While you are out there having fun, why not get lost in some corn? It’s more fun than it sounds, I promise.

6. Apple cider and Halloween movie night

Spend one of your nights cuddling up with a hot cup of apple cider and a classic Halloween movie.

7. Go coffee shop hopping

On those days where it’s a little chilly to be outside, spend them inside your local coffee shops. Discover your town and go to that coffee shop you never got the chance to check out. Have a little fun and order something you normally wouldn’t.

8. Go on a drive

Take the road less traveled this fall and load up your friends for a little road trip through the foliage. Stop the car whenever you see a photo opportunity.

9. Find a cozy place to read a book

Take a break from Netflix and blow off the dust from that book that has been on your shelf. Invite some friends to read books and drink warm beverages by the trees.

10. Go apple picking

It doesn’t matter if it’s cliche, it’s adorable and it’s fun.
