Hot & Healthy: How to Get That Bikini Body You Always Dreamed Of

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UVM chapter.

So it may still be snowing, but Spring is right around the corner! That means showing off your legs, arms, and, with crop top season before us, your belly!

With less clothes generally comes a sense of panic – I spent all winter hibernating and eating way too much Ben and Jerry’s, how am I possibly going to look good when the temperature rises? But have no fear: the Her Campus team is here to tell you that your panic is unnecessary.

The biggest accessory you need this season is confidence. Carry your confidence with you wherever you go, and you’ll look hot in everything, guaranteed!

However, if you need a little extra push in the confidence department, below are some easy and quick workouts you can do at home!

POP Pilates

I heard about POP Pilates from a friend, and I am hooked. The workouts are relatively simple and incredibly effective for total-body conditioning. She even has videos for you to do the exercises with her! Check out the website blogilates.com and sign up – it’s free, and you get a workout calendar to keep you on track!

Yoga

People think that yoga is just for stretching, but it really builds strong and lean muscles. Follow Yoga Girl on Instagram to get a daily dose of inspiration, and start practicing your headstand!

Weight Training

When I was at my previous University, I had a friend who was a black belt in karate. She taught me some really good arm exercises. You don’t need a lot of weight – I started with 5lbs – and you do a lot of reps. This builds lean muscles rather than big bulging ones, which you’d get with more weight. I did triceps and biceps curls, and kickbacks. Check out YouTube for some insight on how to do these moves, and more!

Like I said above, there is no “perfect body type.” We are all beautiful and perfect and individual.
