College Life

What is your campus involvement? Pretty unimpressive… Does Ski and Snowboard Club count?

Why did you choose your major? Communication is an incredibly important aspect of daily life, and it is something that will be useful in any career path I fall into after grad school.

Best study spot on campus? I get most of my work done at the good old Bailey Howe.

Weirdest thing you’ve encountered at UVM? Random townie on Church Street telling us “I ain’t afraid of no ghost.”

Favorite thing to do on the weekends? Going out with my friends.

What is your favorite hobby? If I could do it more, scuba diving. But now that it’s cooling down outside… Grand Theft Auto V has my heart (and my social life).

What is something you have done in your life you are most proud of? I’ve travelled to many places around the world and have been in some crazy situations. Like driving through armed checkpoints in Egypt, or eating bear meat in a sketchy neighborhood of Bucharest.

Fun Facts

Favorite movie? The Shawshank Redemption. Brings a tear to my eye every time.

Favorite TV show? Breaking Bad. But when that gets too heavy, The League is an awesome show.

Are you also a flannel fanatic like most at UVM? Not at all.

Biggest pet peeve? People who walk too slow.

Favorite season? Summer. Fall is a close second.

Top 3 most played songs on your iPod? 1) “Lick It” by Kaskade & Skrillex, 2) “Live Forever” by Ferry Corsten (Michael Woods Remix), and 3) “The Night Out” by Martin Solveig

What is one strange thing about yourself that most people would never guess? That I work at a spa. People who know me definitely wouldn’t be that surprised though.

If you could have one superpower, what would it be? Not terribly super, but being able to speak every language in the world fluently would be a great gift.

You’re stranded on a desert island and can only bring 3 items. What do you bring? Shades. Trunks. Surfboard.

What’s the craziest thing you’ve done this summer? Other than a few nights of debauchery in NYC and Camp Bisco, nothing too out of the ordinary.

Love Life

What would be the perfect first date? A casual drink at an intimate spot downtown.

Biggest turn-on? Good sense of humor and able to hold a conversation.

Biggest turn-off? Annoying laugh.

Sweetest thing you’ve ever done for a girl? Giving her my coat when it’s cold outside.

Who’s your celeb crush? A little older, but Charlize Theron could still get it.

Any tips for the single kids on campus? Don’t worry about finding love, it will find you when the time is right.
