What activities are you involved in on campus?
I’m a proud member of Kappa Alpha Theta.
What’s it like to go to school so close to home?
Honestly, I don’t mind it at all. I really love Burlington and when I’m on campus, I don’t feel like I’m close to home.
Why did you choose UVM?
I chose UVM mainly because of its mathematics department. Before coming to UVM, I met several math professors and knew that I loved them almost instantaneously. They are brilliant and very supportive of women.
Where can we find you on the weekends?
On the weekends, I like to spend time on Church Street and go salsa dancing downtown.
What’s your favorite study spot?
I have a favorite study spot on the 3rd floor of Bailey Howe.

What’s a cute Valentine’s Day date idea?
Since it’s pretty chilly outside, I think it would be really cute to have an indoor picnic. Grab a cozy blanket, some chocolate covered strawberries, and that one special person.
What are three things that would instantly turn you off from someone?
Arrogance, narcissism, and poor hygiene
Your most awkward date?
I went mini golfing with a guy and he by accidently hit a golf ball at my head. Thankfully I ducked in time and avoided being hit, but it made things a little uncomfortable for the rest of the date.
Most important thing you look for in a guy?
How compatible our personalities are.
Advice for anyone looking around on the dating scene?
Focus on being the best person you can be and don’t get discouraged. There are billions of people on this planet and many of them have the ability to make you happier than you ever imagined.
