To keep us going strong during fall semester midterms, Her Campus Nationals hooked our UVA chapter writer’s up with an awesome Back-to-School Survival Kit! We got fun freebies from eleven cool brands and want to share about them with you.
Let’s start with the food! Everyone’s favorite Mexican restaurant Chipotle gave us “buy one, get one free” coupons! I can’t decide whether to use mine with a friend or buy two burrito bowls for myself… We also got mini LUNA bars that keep you energized and satisfy your sweet tooth craving. The chocolate coconut flavor I ate tasted just like Samoas Girl Scout cookies!
Next up, clothes and accessories! Aeropostale sent us a sport water bottle and a $10 gift card that will come in handy for fall break shopping. Affinitas gave us colorful Cupcake Panties, which come in a cute cupcake-shaped box. Nasty Gal gifted some sassy pins to give our backpacks a little flair. We also got headbands and $5 off coupons from the restaurant Sweetgreen, which makes delicious local and organic dishes.
Finally, health and beauty! We got coupons for the Tanda Zap pocket-size zit zapper, which safely and effectively kills those unwanted blemishes, along with samples of Garnier’s Blackhead Eliminating Scrub and Nourishing Cleansing Oil to keep our skin healthy and clean. European Wax Center gave us $5 off coupons for their exfoliating gel that we cannot wait to try. We also received a free download for Clue, an app that tracks your cycle and mood to make sure you’re always prepared. Last but not least, indoor cycling center SoulCycle sent us free class passes for a fun (but effective) workout.
