Goodbye Dorms
of many forms,
old, new, and motel,
where first-years happily dwell.
Goodbye Lawn
where streakers streak from dusk till dawn
and students come to lay and play
on warm, nice sunny days.
Goodbye Libraries
with your stacks, facts, and Greenberry’s
Clark, Alderman, and the infamous Clem 1
where there is no fun, but work gets done.

Goodbye Dining Halls
and your underwhelming food overall
where the meals produced may be nasty,
but days are brightened by words of Miss Kathy.
Goodbye Corner
where Trin lines could most definitely be shorter
and students go to forget their worries
over Wahoos and Bold Rock’s till their nights become blurry.
Goodbye JPJ
where basketball players play
and games (unlike football) are actually won
thanks to Kyle Guy…and his bun.
Goodbye Mad Bowl
where frat boys stroll
and the darties are the best
swarming with those who are “Mr. Brightside” obsessed.
Goodbye Jefferson
and your legacy that has been
honored for almost two-hundred years
In the Rotunda you stand, greatly revered.

Goodbye Hoos
who, win or lose,
join arms and sing the “Good Old Song”
heads held high, friendships strong.
Goodbye Grounds
for the time has sadly come around
to say farewell and start to pack
but don’t worry – come fall – we’ll be back!
