Zack Porter '14By April 3, 2013 - 11:04pm Zack Porter is a third year at UVa, and a co-founder of the International Justice Mission at UVA. On the day before classes let out for Spring Break, IJM at UVA joined with the national IJM chapter in their Stand for Freedom movement. Students took turns standing for 27 hours to advocate for ending modern day slavery. Although snow was still on the ground from the freak blizzard that caused chaos and cancelations of before break exams, Porter stuck it out in the cold for 26 of the 27 hours. READ MORE |

Aaron OjalvoBy March 25, 2013 - 2:59pm A South Floridian who had no idea UVA even existed until he was 17, Aaron Ojalvo has become a bona-fide expert on all things UVA and Jefferson in his first two years as a student. From giving tours of Monticello in the summer, to bringing the University Guide Service on board in its support for the Memorial for Enslaved Laborers, Aaron shows as much spirit as CavMan himself.
