The Best Twitter Reactions To Harry Styles’ ‘Kiwi’ Music Video

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UVA chapter.

It has been two years since One Direction announced their hiatus, which may have been the single most heartbreaking moment of my life, right up there with learning the truth about Santa. Luckily, for the still-devoted fans like myself who will fight anyone that says they aren’t getting back together, the boys have each put out solo music that makes the wait for a reunion slightly more bearable. When I saw that Harry Styles was releasing a new music video for his song “Kiwi,” I felt like Christmas had come early.

After leaving mysterious hints on Instagram (in the form of photos of Gucci-clad children), everyone’s favorite heartthrob dropped the video early Tuesday morning. And, needless to say, the internet had a lot of opinions. “Kiwi” is notoriously the most, um, sexual song from Harry’s self-titled solo debut. So when his video was essentially a tribute to all things cute and innocent, including baked goods, adorable kids, and puppies, his fans were left scratching their heads. Check out the video here, and take a lot at some of Twitter’s best reactions to “Kiwi.”

A lot of people felt personally victimized by Harry’s smirk.

The whole video was basically an excuse to make fun of Harry’s affinity for Gucci suits.

People were expecting something slightly more intense, to say the least.

There weren’t even any kiwis in the video!

Harry and puppies is all anyone has ever needed in this life.
