During finals week students tend to get extremely stressed, due to the workload and the limited amount of time they have to complete those assignments. In order to stay sane while completing these assignments, students have to make sure to relax as well.
Being able to relax will allow students to not only get their work done more effectively, but it will also make the assignment more fun. After all finals week is stressful enough, so relaxing and finding ways to de-stress is essential.
1. Take a break
Walking away for a few minutes from an assignment, can help you regroup and come up with new ideas for the project or paper. This is the best way to keep yourself from dreaming out.
2. Be organized
Make a list of the assignments you have to complete along with their due dates. This not only keep all your assignments in order, but it also leads you to not forget any other assignments leading you to not scramble last minute.
3. Keep a consistent sleep schedule
Try to get at least 8 hours of sleep, to feel more energized and relaxed throughout the day. This leaves you feeling less tired and prepares you for your day for finals week.
4. Eat foods that make you feel energized
I won’t say eat healthy because everyone has their go to food that keeps them happy. Try to mix the snacks you eat with fruit or vegetables you love.
5. Coloring/Art
Paint or print out coloring pages to relax your mind for a few minutes.Painting always helps me to relax so I will recommend coloring to help relax a bit.
