Why Spring Semester Will Be Better Than the Fall

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Utah chapter.

Welcome back! Now please don’t be upset about having to come back to the harsh reality of college, I promise you this semester will be kick-a**, and here’s a few reasons why!

For Freshmen:

Well, you’ve made it through your first semester! Congratulations by the way! Luckily for you, campus now feels much smaller. When you find out you have a class in SFEBB and one in OSH you won’t be wandering aimlessly with your map om the new campus app, you will actually know what those letters mean and the fastest route there. Plus, you know campus landmarks now! The Pie, Greek Row, B&D’s, and all the frat satellite houses are finally recognizable! College isn’t so scary now is it?

For Sophmores:

Look at you, no longer asking for help – but giving it. You’ve totally got your act together this semester. There is nothing that can be thrown at you. You know the best people and professors on campus, and you know all the best places downtown, to eat, shop, and play – oh and where there is actually free parking! It’s easy street from this semester on out. Have fun!

For Juniors:

Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you – finally, twenty SOMETHINGS! You are finally of age. And why will this semester be better than last? Two words, Spring Break. This will be the best, trust me. Plan it now! Enjoy the sun, eye-candy, and legal drinks of choice.

For Seniors:

Does the word senioritis mean anything to you?! This is your last semester. While you might be experiencing a very bittersweet moment, you know graduation sounds absolutely amazing. The blood, sweat and tears of your undergrad are finally being recognized. Sincerely, congratulations from all of us at Her Campus Utah. Hopefully the rest of your years are as fabulous as your years here at The U!
