The Impending Inauguration as Told by Chelsea Handler

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Utah chapter.

The 2017 inauguration is almost here and let’s face it: this is a day that many are interested in seeing. If the day resembles anything close to what we have become accustomed to from Trump’s election and 3AM tweets, then we are definitely in for a show. More importantly, the day following the inauguration there will be a nationwide women’s march, you can find more information about the Park City March here. One of the most exciting parts about this march is that Chelsea Handler is organizing it. If you haven’t seen her stand up Uganda Be Kidding Me on Netflix, it’s time. Handler has recently started a new show called Chelsea, a Netflix talk show where you can see interviews and of course all of Handler’s charming wit.

With this exciting news, we couldn’t help but show just how we are all feeling about the impending inauguration through Handler’s eyes.

When we read the list of performers.
When it’s officially less than a week away and you are waiting for Punk’d to announce that this has been the biggest comeback ever. Because that would just make more sense.
When all your friends start to post their political opinions online.
When you start to make plans for January 20th.
When you get so sick of everything that you decide to host a Women’s March.

Be sure to follow along Her Campus Utah’s twitter on January 20th and 21st. We will be live tweeting the Inauguration and the Park City Women’s March.

If I am not on campus I am hopefully off in another country meeting new people...or lying in my bed under a million blankets watching that day's netflix binge.
