Drive safely this winter!By November 16, 2012 - 12:08pm We all know that, in Utah, the scariest driving conditions are during the first snowstorm of the fall. It seems like everyone forgets how to drive safely throughout the summer, and, when winter comes, most people aren’t ready for slick, icy roads. Well, in case you’re a lady who’s forgotten, here are a few reminders of how to drive safely this winter! 1. Slow down!!! I cannot stress this enough. They say it on the news, your friends tell you before you leave, your boss will remind you, and you need to listen! Give yourself extra time when you’re traveling. Leave earlier for work and school. Steven Espinosa '14By November 16, 2012 - 10:56am If anyone’s looking for a laid back guy to hang out with around campus, look no further. He may sound like your regular sports-loving guy (Lakers clearly being his fave team after the Jazz of course), but there’s a lot more to Steven Espinosa. A junior at the U, Steven’s majoring in computer engineering and hails from Ventura, California. He loves to play soccer and basketball as well as the acoustic guitar. His favorite food is Mexican because of its rich flavors, and his favorite things to do in the winter include snowball fights, sledding and celebrating his birthday.
