There should be an Angela Moneck at Every AvenueBy April 2, 2011 - 6:02pm This week brought horrendous weather, the season finale of Showtime’s Shameless and a new USFSP Campus Celebrity: Angela Moneck. 1. So, I hear you are a fan of magazines. Which ones? And why? My favorites are Glamour and SELF. I've been obsessed with them since I can remember. I used to buy every single magazine at the checkout counters at Walgreens, but that got too expensive. Now, I subscribe to about three: Glamour, SELF, and Cosmopolitan. I mostly look at them for design inspiration, since I eventually want to work for one. READ MORE |

Here’s a ShaunaBy March 12, 2011 - 3:15pm Join me this week, while I poke and prod at this week’s Campus Celebrity, Shauna Gelman. So, what's your major and why did you choose it? My major is english, but my specialization is technical and professional writing. I’ve always been a creative writer but let’s face it—I like eating and being able to pay my student loans, so technical writing it is. I like the mechanics of writing—crossing the t’s and dotting the I’s and what have you. I enjoy that the degree is part marketing, part web-design and a whole lot of research methods. READ MORE |

Meet Mr. WalshBy February 11, 2011 - 9:56am Join me for an extra close close-up with this week’s campus celebrity, Mr. Brian Walsh, at a downtown Starbucks. So, how often do you go to Starbucks? Oh my god. If I can help myself? Not more than twice a day. But, most of the time I do once a day or every other day. It’s not cheap, I’ll give you that. Most often I go because I sit in class all day and have plans afterwards, and when you get out of sitting in class for three hours straight, you’re a fricken zombie. That’s my thoughts on that. If you had a 3-day paid vacation from school and work, what would you being doing? READ MORE |
