Enzo Ferrara is running the Premed Club here at USFSP. He is focused on his studies and volunteering, but he doesn’t forget to make time to enjoy all what our area has to offer.
What year are you (freshman, sophomore, junior, senior)?
Junior
Why did you decide to go to USFSP?
I like the small campus atmosphere. I feel like it’s a fantastic way to create friends, get close to your teachers, and participate more on campus.
What’s your major?
Biology (Biomedical Science Track) with a minor in Biophysics
What’s your favorite thing about our campus?
The bay. I feel like it’s a mesmerizing view.
What’s your favorite thing to do on campus?
Hang out with friends; whether it’s the gym, reef, or even the library.
In what ways are you involved on campus?
I’m currently the president of the Premed Club here on campus. I’ve also held a long list of positions ranging from Senate in Student Government, to an alternative voting member in SGEF and a member of the Grappling Club. However, due to classes I’ve had to reduce my level of involvement.
What do you do when not at school (extra- curricular activities/jobs…etc)?
I volunteer at St. Anthony’s hospital, and manage a club with about 200 people. I enjoy going to the Grappling Club meetings as well do recreational boxing.
If you could have a superpower which would you pick?
Hmm… I’d most likely pick Telekinesis.
Most importantly though, what’s your favorite movie?
That’s actually a very tough one. I have lots of love for various movies. I’d have to say Disney’s Hercules. It’s always been childhood favorite.
