Over the past couple of years, I’ve developed a bit of an obsession with watching beauty gurus on YouTube using or testing different products. These five beauty and skin related items have been favorites of mine, and I’m so excited to share them with you.

- Organic Coconut Oil: I know you’ve probably seen this one everywhere, but I’ve gone through a couple of jars of this stuff in the past few months because it works wonders for a dry and itchy scalp (like mine). It’s also great to use as a replacement for a scentless lotion. The trick is to warm it up, and thoroughly massage it into your skin or scalp, and the difference in smoothness of your skin will surprise you.

- One of my favorite beauty subscription boxes is the FabFitFun box- it is delivered to your doorstep 4 times a year, one for each season. Each season, there is a different artist who creates the artwork for the box and inside the box are a bunch of products- beauty, fitness, fashion, and other goodies. For the spring box, there were a lot of new products that I’ve never tried before, and my favorite was this lotion called “Hello Legs.” It has a light floral type of scent to it, and leaves your legs shiny. The tube it comes in is also great for travel.

- If you know me, you know I love my eyeshadow palettes. I’ve currently been using Tarte’s “Tartelette in Bloom” palette, because it has a lot of neutral matte shades that I’m loving for the spring time. This palette is great, because the shades are neutral enough to wear with any bright lip color without looking like a clown did your makeup.
- When I first got the “Tatcha Polished Classic Rice Enzyme Powder”, I had no idea what to do with it. But after watching several YouTubers review the product, it became clear to me that it was a great face wash for removing dirt and unclogging pores. It’s a gritty texture that leaves your face feeling refreshed and smooth after rinsing. It has become a daily staple to use in my night routine.
- Last but not least, it’s my favorite hair brand, “NuMe”. “NuME”has this product called “White Truffle Serum” that works wonders for dead ends of hair, as well as making it easy to comb out after showering. It also smells wonderful.
