Have you heard of Lola Blanc? If not, you’re about to. You’ll soon recognize the Fremont, Michigan native as the singer of some of your favorite summer hits. Blanc is a singer-songwriter based on our Los Angeles, California. Her perfectly lined cat eyes and fun bright lipstick caught my eye from the second I stumbled across one of her music videos. Her signature style is best described, both musically and aesthetically, as technicolor pop.
Blanc, who was born in Germany, has mastered her signature retro, glamourous look and her music videos reflect that same style. Always sporting a colorful array of pieces and makeup, Blanc’s style is similar to that of Lady Gaga and Katy Perry with a unique twist. However, her music mixes elements of fantasy and reality with a fun, danceable beat.
