A few Her Campus members, plus thousands of Tampa Bay residents, participated in Making Strides Against Breast Canceron October 20, 2012. The 3-mile walk began at the Tampa Bay Times Forum and headed down Bayshore Blvd. along the route were water stations and volunteers to cheered on the walkers. People came out wearing their pink bras, some dressed completely in pink, and a few even dyed their dogs pink. This walk, which supported the fight against breast cancer, was a large success.
