FASHION FRIDAY: Cold to Warm Weather Outfits

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at USF chapter.

This week’s rapidly changing weather has sent most of us into a fashion whirlwind. While some days started with temperatures in the thirties, temperatures rose rapidly by the late afternoon. It can be hard to play an outfit that’ll keep you warm in the morning and keep you comfortable when it gets warmer later in the day. Here are two cute oufit ideas to help you figure out what to wear on these more confusing days.

Look 1

The perfect base to an outfit in Florida’s unpredictably cold-to-hot winter are basic sheer tights. Add menswear-inspired lace-up booties, a flouncy floral skirt and basic black crop tank to complete the look. Keep yourself warm (for a few hours, at least.) with an unbuttoned demin button down. When the temperatures heat up, tie it around your waist for a laidback vibe. Add a few fun rings and a basic structured bag to complete the look.

Look 2

Graphic prints are definitetly trending for spring. Throw on a basic sweater with a bold graphic, like this lipstick pullover, to add a focal point to your look. A pair of brightly-colored skinny jeans will brighten up your look. A slouchy blazer will add warmth and a structured element to your outfit. A pair of loafers and edgy structured bag will tie it all together. Accessorize with a boyfriend watch and simple bracelet.

What’s your go to outfit when wacky weather hits Florida? Leave your thoughts in the comments!
