We all have that one friend that we just vibe with more than anybody else. She’s your ride or die that also gets you into trouble sometimes. She’s always there to promote unhealthy eating habits but won’t let you go too far. Most importantly it’s the person that is always there for you no matter what. These are fool proof signs that this girl is in fact you best friend!
1. You hang out…a lot
You ask your bestie to go out to a party with you and she declines. You’re sitting there thinking what do you mean you don’t want to go out? You’ve only seen each other 5 times this week and you know her work schedule so it’s not like she has to work tomorrow, what her problem?!
2. You do what she likes (even if you don’t)
I am beyond guilty of this. I love seeing really dumb scare movies even though I know they’re more than likely going to be horrible. My best friend always come see these movies with me even if she has declared that it’s going to be a waste of $10. Unfortunately, she is usually right but she still manages to watch every new scary movie that comes out with me.
3. You two are a package deal
Has anybody ever seen you on campus and automatically asked where your best friend was and you’re like uhhhh idk class probably? More than likely you’re lying because you know good and well you know she’s at the MSC getting Chick Fil A because she has a 2 hour break in between her classes on Mondays.
4. You have a bunch of photos of her on your phone.
AKA you have approximately 2398 embarrassing and horrible pictures and videos of her that you may or may not use as blackmail in the near future.
5. She’s always up-to-date on your relationship status
This one is pretty self explanatory. Not only does she know all the details about your relationship but she also knows that when you swear you’re done with him that you are more than likely just lying to yourself. Regardless she still listens to all of your repeated rants about him.
6. If somebody makes you angry, then she’s angry too
This kind of goes along with #5. DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT ever piss off a girl and think that her best friend is still going to be cordial with you. Even if she is cordial, she’s also setting up blind dates back to back so that she can get you out of her friend’s life once and for all.
7. She’s your other half
She is there for you, through and through, through thick and thin, good times and bad times, laughter and tears, anything and everything. She is a part of you, and vice versa, and you just can’t imagine you life without your bestie.
