O-Week is here!

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at USC (AU) chapter.

Hello fellow new students!

Welcome to USC and welcome back!

This year’s Orientation Week will be the biggest yet. We have the new Brasserie Bar on Wednesday from 2pm-5pm, Dream World and the Sunshine Coast Hinterland tour on Friday, March 28 and all the awesome activites in between!

Be sure to check out all the stalls on Market Day, Tuesday, March 25. Make sure you head to the Student Guild to get your free USC academic calendar, water bottle and more! Don’t forget to join one of the big banks like Commknwealth bank, Westpac or ANZ to get a discount on a student debit card or credit card!

There’s also loads of competitions to join in on, on the day so don’t forget to spin the wheel for a prize, get some free lollies from Red Frogs and a free sausage sizzle near the Brasserie! Join a campus organisation, like AIME, Performing Arts Kollective (PAK), Golden key, the Student Guild, USC Activate and of course Her Campus USC (AU)!

We’ll be walking around with Her Campus USC flyers, putting up posters and handing out free pens outside the Co-Op Bookshop so don’t miss out! We are definitely looking for more writers this semester! Build your portfolio early!

Try some Aussie tucker with our Indigenous teachers and faculty staff during the week too and make sure you buy your tickets to the Friday trips!

P.S Make sure you join the pool party this week! Check out the Orientation Week timetable here!

We hope to see you around campus tomorrow!

HCXO!
