4 Starbucks Drinks To Get You Excited For Warm Weather

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at URI chapter.

Spring has somewhat sprung! Well, not really, considering that it snowed in April. But we are on our way to warmer temps, in the northeast at least! And summer means, summery food and cold drinks! Starbucks definitely has you covered there. Here are some of the perfect drinks to get at Starbucks once the warm weather has come to stay.

1. Strawberry Acai Refresher

This is my absolute FAVORITE drink ever. Since I don’t drink coffee or tea, this is my go-to at Starbucks. It is a mixture of strawberry and acai berry juices mixed with water and some freeze dried strawberries. It may sound boring but I promise you it is delicious. Sometimes I like to spice it up by substituting the water for lemonade, basically making it taste like strawberry lemonade….amazing.

2. Shaken Iced Tea/Lemonade

If you’re looking for something like an Arnold Palmer, then you’ve hit the jackpot with an Iced Tea Lemonade from Starbs. You can customize this drink so many different ways. You can choose between green tea, black tea, white tea, or passion tea, plus the lemonade! And to make it more exciting you can add flavor hints of strawberry, pineapple, or citrus!

3. A Frappuccino

This drink is basically the same thing as a milkshake, which is perfect for hot weather! There are over 15 different flavors that you could choose from. You could never get bored of the same one, because you can always try something different. Some of the more crazy ones include red velvet, cinnamon roll, matcha, and many more.

4. Iced Caramel Macchiato

For all you coffee lovers, this is the perfect drink for you. It’s cold, which is perfect for the summer. It also has espresso to keep you energized. The baristas also add milk and vanilla syrup…and of course caramel! And to top it all off, it’s really pretty before you swirl it.
