The lines were long, the sun was heating through the umbrellas and tensions were high at yesterday’s #AsambleaRUM. There is a lot at stake, and while the student body seemed very divided between keeping the university on strike or not, a little over three thousand students took to the Isidoro García Stadium to make sure their voices were heard.
While many had their own banners to get their opinion out there, many took to twitter and here’s what they had to say.
The anticipation for the #AsambleaRUM was high
The sun was unforgiving and due to the massive turn out of the student body the wait was close to three hours long
And while it seemed like things were taking a usual turn, motions didn’t go through and the suggested agenda went on as previously planned.
