The countdown is finally over, Christmas is finally here! It’s time to decorate our trees, put on a million lights, wrap gifts, and drink hot cocoa with a rocking Christmas playlist!

We already know tis’ the season to be jolly, but guess what? It’s also the season to slay that living room family party! And that’s why we’ve created an easy makeup tutorial, so you can go slay the haters (and rude family member comments) away!

Well no more wasting time, let’s get to work!

1. Base color

Starting in the outer V and working our way into the crease with wiper motion moves, we blended “penny” and “brick” from The Burgundy Palette by Kylie Cosmetics.

Tip: You can add concealer to the eye before adding the colors, so they look more pigmented.

2. Transition color

To intensify the colors, we added “almond” from the same Kylie palette we’ve been using and mixed it with “kenya” from the Nubian 2 Eyeshadow Palette by Juvia’s Place to the crease and outer V.

3. Gradient color

To create a smokey effect, we added “cyprus umber” from the Nubian 2 Eyeshadow Palette by Juvia’s Place to the crease, outer V and getting a little closer to the inner corner of the eye.

Tip: Blend the irrelevant comments away.

4. Lid

We took “nairobi” from the Nubian 2 Eyeshadow Palette by Juvia’s Place and covered the lid to spice up the look!

Tip: You can wet your brush with setting spray to pick up the color better.

5. Highlight

We added the “iced latte” infallible eyeshadow by L’Oréal to the brow bone and the inner corner of the eye.

Tip: There’s no such thing as too much highlight.

6. Eye lashes (optional)

Tip: Wait until the glue is tacky so the eyelashes don’t ruin your look!

7. Slay!

Happy Holidays!
