When it comes to the Holidays, most of us get so wrapped up (pun intended) in getting gifts, finishing the semester, getting everything ready for the festivities and often we neglect ourselves. Here are some products that will definitely help you stay on track and looking flawless, even for those impromptu photos your family decides to take of you with a Santa Claus hat on.

1. Softer Hands for Gift Wrapping

For those moments where you just need a little more sweetness in your life, the BEING hand creams do just that while leaving your skin nicely moisturized. The sugary Salted Caramel & Macadamia scented lotion hydrates and leaves you in a smooth caramel trance the entire day. For those who like fruitier scents, try the Cloudberry & Lychee Blossom Hand Cream!

2. Photo Ready Eyes

The Tarteist™ PRO Palette  is my new favorite palette! It is helping me to step up my makeup game! The duochrome shades are so gorgeous! With the ultra pigmented shades, they’re easy to blend and they stay on when everything on my face fades off. My holiday party looks are going to be fresh this season! Either glam or low key, this palette is great for anyone.

3. Lashes For Days

This is my holy grail mascara. We all have one! Perfect for when you want to look more alive during the winter months—what with the stress of holiday shopping and finals. The best part is that it’s vegan. Your lashes won’t clump, and they’ll look absolutely natural! Definitely great for both running errands or jamming at a Christmas party. A quick swipe of Lights, Camera, Lashes™, and you’re ready to go out into the world, you beautiful stunner you.

4. Exercise the Holidays Away

The #ActuallySheCan Tanks, created in partnership with Le Motto, are the best kinds of shirts, with their soft and breathable fabric, they are perfect to walk around campus and work out, especially after eating all that holiday food! The best part is that you’ll look cute doing it.

5. Eye-Revival for Late Holiday Shoppers

I tend to be  your typical university girl that studies hard, plays hard, and also binge-watches The Eric Andre Show and Samurai Champloo until like 4AM on the weekends. This means puffy eyes with dark circles. I was able to try out Alba Botanica®  Cooling Eye Gel and this is definitely a holiday saver!

This product is cruelty-free and vegetarian, so that’s a plus for me. It’s light and easy to put on, and with cucumbers, green tea and caffeine, it helped clear my dark circles and heal my puffy and tired eyes which is perfect for last minute gift shoppers.  The best part is that you can use it in combination with your favorite moisturizer and primer because of how light it is.Turn from Vampire Princess into a Snow Queen with Alba Botanicals® Cooling Eye Gel!

6. Krazy Holy Grail

When all things fail, and that shoe breaks, or that gift breaks, Krazy Glue has got you covered. Krazy Glue singles are perfect for bonds to wood, metal, plastics, glass, vinyl & ceramics. It’s a sticky situation… But a you’ll be thankful for this life saver during the Holidays.

Hey, my name is Aisha. I'm a third year student at UPRRP.
Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Josie is a senior in the UPR-Río Piedras campus, majoring in English Literature. When she's not on campus, you can find her browsing a bookstore (as if her TBR pile isn't big enough already!). Books and writing are what drives this girl--apart from fighting to destigmatize mental illnesses and raising awareness about the importance of consent. Josie enjoys traveling, bingeing on spicy food and a lot of sweets, blasting Bieber, and adding shows or movies to her Netflix queue that she'll never get to. Josie is a junior editor for the Rio Piedras chapter in Puerto Rico. If you want to see what else Josie is up to, you can catch her on her bookstagram.
Lover of singing, dancing and reading. I like spending my free time binge watching series that have too many seasons, fangirling over female pop icons and watching makeup tutorials. Social media is one of my passions and I aspire to be the best publicity/public relations specialist. Always bold & brave.
María is in an open relationship with Theatre. She enjoys reading and writing, binge watching Netflix shows, baking and singing when no one is watching. She hopes to change the world, even if she isn't sure how to do it yet.
