Why Fall is the Best Season

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UNL chapter.

There’s something about this time of year that is just more magical than any other season, in my opinion. The leaves are changing along with the weather, the mosquitoes start to die and I can finally wear those big sweaters I bought at Goodwill for 99 cents over the summer.

Here are some reasons why I think fall is by far the best season:

– Campus looks beautiful

There are tons of trees around campus that look absolutely gorgeous as it starts to get

colder and they change color.

– The weather gets colder

It’s really nice to be able to walk to class and not be sweaty and gross because it’s 90 degrees. Colder weather also means you can finally break out your sweaters and boots, which to me is so exciting!

– Football season

We all know that Saturdays in Lincoln during the fall are basically holidays. There’s nothing better than good food, friends and football all in the same day.
