Many people like myself, have the troublesome task every year of figuring out what to give our Valentine Sweetie. A box of chocolates and a card seem to be the first thought that pops into our mind, but we quickly realize that we’ve done that already or that it would not be an original enough idea. Homemade sweets would be the way to go this year because most everyone loves getting food, it says that you thought of something that the other person would like, and it gives much more meaning gift giving itself because of the time and effort that went into creating the perfect dessert. Among some of the top items for this coming holiday would be chocolate covered strawberries, white chocolate popcorn, mini cakes and the classic: M&M cookies. Be creative and good luck baking.
