Catherine Brackett, one of our Collegiettes, has had the opportunity to intern for Collegefashionista. She’s doing an amazing job, too. Here’s an article she did on my outfit called, “Frigid Florals.” Needless to say, I am over this weather. In Nebraska, we experience all four seasons in one week. It’s crazy, I know. I have no idea how we deal with it.
Fortunetly, we did have a beautiful day and I decided to mix it up with my favorite brown booties, black leggings (it’s still winter), black sweater, and my floral skirt for a pop color. This is outfit says “I am ready for spring, but winter keeps playing with my heart.” I think these types of outfits are the easiest for those of us who want to stand out in the black winter trend. Catherine did an amazing job capturing the details of my outfit, as well.
