We all know how important a good study spot is, but many of us know how difficult it is to find the perfect one. The Mill is by far my favorite, not-so-secret place to go for just about anything. It’s conveniently located in the Haymarket, equipped with a large variety of loose-leaf tea and coffee, a menu to make any caffeine-lover drool. Their staff is friendly, their outdoor patio is huge and covered (Hello rainy days!) and their drinks are heavenly. You even have the option to what type of ambience you would like; well-lit and chatty, slightly more dim and studious, or dimmer and pretty darn quiet. While these “sections” of the shop aren’t labeled or enforced, people typically stick to these areas and study wherever they study best! Studying and homework are very familiar concepts in college and you shouldn’t be miserable doing it! If you haven’t been to The Mill, go check it out! I promise you’ll fall in love.
