What made you decide to apply for Homecoming royalty?
I had a great friend who was on Royalty last year encourage me to apply. I wanted to represent my college (CASNR) as well.
Which part of homecoming week was the most fun for you?
I really enjoyed the parade and seeing everyone’s hard work from throughout the week. It was also great to see people supporting UNL through the involvement in all Homecoming activities.
How did you feel when they said your name?
Stunned! It was certainly a pleasant surprise.
What else are you involved in on campus?
I am the former President of the Engler Agribusiness Entrepreneurship Club, a member of the Mortar Board Senior Honor Society, a counselor for Nebraska Human Resources Institute, a student leader for FOCUS (Fellowship of Catholic University Students), and an ASUN Senator for CASNR.
What do you plan on doing after graduation?
I hope to pursue a graduate degree program in Agricultural Economics this coming fall.
