Last Tuesday Her Campus threw a bake sale in the Union Plaza. We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day. The sun was shining, the trees were blooming and there was a slight breeze in the air. It was the perfect day to sell our baked goodies. We also had a gorgeous booth that was graciously decorated by fellow club members. They did a fantastic job!
I was at the booth for over an hour and let me say that it’s a lot harder to sell baked goods than it looks. It was interesting to see people look over and think about stopping by but not carrying through. Nonetheless, we still had a good amount of customers during the sale and I got to sell treats to good friends of mine that I haven’t seen in a while!
Puppy Chow was definitely our hot seller. Note to everyone out there, puppy chow is always the answer when it comes to winning people over.
All in all, it was a great event and I was so proud to be a part of it. I can’t wait to have another one, I bet we can get even more people to stop by too.
